Mammoth® underfloor insulation is made from long lasting 100% polyester insulation. It is non-irritant, non-toxic and is warranted not to sag over time so to keep homes warmer and more energy efficient for longer. Depending on the underfloor space, Mammoth has friction-fit underfloor sections, soft roll-form underfloor blankets and carpark panels to suit.

Mammoth Underfloor Section Insulation

Mammoth underfloor insulation are self-supporting medium density pads that squeeze into place between joists without staples or other fixings.

Cut to a variety of widths, Mammoth® polyester underfloor insulation sections are moisture resistant, high performance options that are safer to install than stapled solutions. Our insulation sections have a range of R-values of up to R3.8 (when double layered).  See Product Range here.

Mammoth Underfloor Blanket Insulation

Mammoth underfloor blanket is made from 100% polyester and is a great option for reducing heat loss through suspended timber floors.

Mammoth® underfloor blanket is recommended only for experienced installers or builders as the insulation is stapled into place between floor joists near electrical wiring. Mammoth polyester insulation is moisture resistant and so is the preferred option for suspended floors. See Product Range here.

Also available are high-performance, self-supporting, easy-to-install Mammoth underfloor sections with a higher R-value and our Carpark Panels.

Mammoth products contain recycled polyester fibres. Mammoth underfloor blanket insulation uses up to 3,300 recycled plastic bottles per 100sqm*.

Mammoth Carpark Panel Insulation

Mammoth carpark panel insulation is designed to improve the thermal performance of concrete carpark ceilings where there are residential and commercial buildings above. See Product Range here.

Designed to be fitted to concrete soffits/slabs, Mammoth® carpark panel insulation enhances the comfort and energy efficiency of buildings above carparks.

Mammoth carpark panels contour over uneven textures which are common place in concrete form work. The airlay manufacture of Mammoth Carpark Panels helps the insulation achieve a seamless fit that supports higher thermal performance across the system by preventing air movement between the insulation panel and the substrate.

Mammoth carpark panel insulation complies with provisions of the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC): AS/NZS 4859.1 for thermal performance and ISO 9705 for the material Group Number 1S for fire performance.

Key Features:

Alongside Mammoth’s sustainability credentials, recyclability, trusted accreditations and 90-year warranty, these key features set our insulation apart:

      • Mammoth Carpark panels  are high performance semi-rigid, airlay polyester insulation panels for concrete soffits and slabs
      • 45mm thick sections to fit between masonry battens.
      • Self-supporting for a smooth friction fit without creases, folds or tucks.
      • Easy and safe to install - simply squeezes between joists with no need for staples.
      • 100% polyester with thermal and acoustic benefits for residential and commercial applications.
      • Group Number 1-S for fire performance.
      • Mottled grey in colour.
      • Mammoth Carpark Panels also assists in absorbing noise to create a quieter environment.
      • Carpark Panel is designed for thermal application and colour contrasts are designed to blend in with the varying natural hues in concrete, as a result, the surface may have differing textures.
      • Mammoth Carpark Panel is compliant with the Building Code of Australia C1.1 (AS ISO 9705) and the New Zealand Building Code C/VM (ISO 9705) as a surface lining material.
      • Safe and easy to work with, sections can easily be cut using wide blade craft knives or specialised insulation saws.
