Mammoth Insulation: 90 Year Warranty

InZone Industries Holdings Ltd (InZone) manufactures Mammoth® 100% polyester insulation products in NZ which are designed to provide long-lasting, durable thermal and acoustic insulation.

InZone warrant that, provided the polyester insulation is installed correctly and remains adequately protected, Mammoth insulation will perform for 90 years.

This 90 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty covers insulation material durability when installed in accordance with the manufacturers installation instructions and NZ4246: Energy Efficiency - Installing insulation in residential buildings.

BRANZ Appraised

Where required for an assurance of building code compliance, a selection of Mammoth’s thermal insulation and acoustic products are BRANZ appraised.

All Mammoth ceiling blanket, and wall and underfloor sections have been appraised by BRANZ and are covered by BRANZ Appraisal 797 (2020) and Appraisal 802 (2020).


Why does Mammoth last so long?

  • All Mammoth insulation products are made from 100% polyester, are heat-bonded and contain no glues or other materials that may break down over time.
  • Mammoth's thermal and acoustic insulation is made from 100% polyester and uses up to 15,600 recycled PET plastic bottles per 100 sqm*. Read more about our sustainability commitment.
  • We take fibre made from plastic bottles, which would otherwise be waste, and manufacture the fibre from the bottles into polyester insulation. Read more about our manufacturing.
  • And if you ever need to remove Mammoth insulation, our products are 100% recyclable, including through our TakeBack & ReUse programme.
  • Unaffected by moisture, Mammoth insulation will continue to perform once dried out.

  • We are the biggest supplier to the government’s EECA programme for polyester insulation for existing homes.
  • We have a large presence in the new build and commercial markets within NZ.
  • We are the exclusive insulation supplier for Kainga Ora - Existing homes through Placemakers nationwide.
  • We supply building merchants, insulation resellers, installers, and other EECA programmes nationwide.

Our Quality Control and Assurance Processes

  • Our business carries third party accreditation, for which the criteria are audited to ensure our processes are robust and quality is designed, measured and controlled.
  • All product is manufactured to specification, measured and graded during and at the completion of the production process.
  • All raw materials and sampled finished products are sent for third party QA testing as a control.
